Our October Event has Shifted to Yonderfest*

Announcement Regarding Postponement of The Alchemy of Art & Wellness

The Alchemy of Art & Wellness has always been envisioned as a gathering place for creativity, healing, and community. Over the past year, we have worked to build an event that would bring artists, performers, and wellness practitioners together in a shared celebration of expression and renewal. As we approached the final planning stages, it became clear that the economic climate has placed significant strain on travel, materials, and service costs for many of the artists and providers who hoped to participate. After careful consideration, the Executive Board has voted to postpone The Alchemy of Art & Wellness until 2027.

Our partners at The Healthy Hippie Cafe and the Thrive Life nonprofit foundation will continue forward with *Yonderfest, a closely aligned event that will take place on the same October 9-12 holiday weekend. Artists, performers, and wellness providers who expressed interest in The Alchemy of Art & Wellness will be encouraged to apply for displays, demonstrations, and participation through Yonderfest. Their team is prepared to welcome the creative community and carry the spirit of the original vision into this year’s celebration. In addition to these logistical considerations, our event director, Jim Henson, will be stepping back for personal health reasons. Jim will undergo end of year testing and biopsies as part of his ongoing follow-up care after a CAR T cell transplant. These evaluations are routine but important, and the Board fully supports his focus on health and continued remission during this time.

We remain committed to the long-term vision of The Alchemy of Art & Wellness and look forward to returning in 2027 with renewed energy, expanded partnerships, and a strengthened foundation.
