Jim Henson, Executive Director of Studio 433-Zenspiration Station, is an artist, writer, musician, actor, and educator. Studio 433 ZEN is a nonprofit organization with a mission to “Live with Purpose” promoting Community Resilience, Environmental Sustainability, and Humanitarian Project Development through Arts & Science Educational strategies.   Jim is skilled in performing arts, curricula development, grant writing, consultation, and counseling services.

Jim is an active professional member of The International Center for Reiki Training, The Integral+Life Resource Group, The Association of Philosophy and Literature, The American Federation of Educators, The Association of Tribal Archives Libraries & Museums, Zen Peacemakers International, Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits, and the Stephenson Cancer Center. *

Studio 433 ZEN supports a community of entrepreneurs, activists, peace builders, humanitarians, artists, and others who infuse their work with contemplative practices to influence change through creativity and inclusiveness. Jim is an ordained, non-denominational minister & Reiki Master applying integrated practices of yoga, transcendental meditation, astrological mapping, and numerology interpretation in his approach to creative problem-solving. “Living with Purpose” means making decisions that align with one’s values and passions, and taking action to achieve goals based on mental and physical well-being and long-term vision.

At 70 years old, Jim is a cancer survivor/thriver committed to “paying it forward projects” by helping others to gracefully age, heal, and grow spiritually. * Jim currently serves on the Stephenson Cancer Center Board of Advocates at the OU Medical Research Campus in OKC, Oklahoma.
